D.A.R.E.
Drug Abuse Resistance Education
Deerfield Police Department
District 109
The D.A.R.E. program empowers young students in District 109 to make sound decisions when facing encounters with drugs, alcohol and bullying. The lessons enable students to acquire skills to help them lead safe and healthy lives. Essay and poster contests are held at the end of every D.A.R.E. session which are sponsored by the Optimist Club of Deerfield.
February 2018
Over 60 parents, kids, teachers were on hand for the DARE event at Wilmot elementary on February 16. We are so happy to see such great attendance and to be part of this program. As always, a big “Thank You’ to the Deerfield Police Department for their help and support.
